Guitar/other peripheral compatibility between PAL and NTSC ps3

Hi!

I live in India and own a PAL ps3. I'm presently in the US, and am looking to buy a guitar hero (either world tour or legends of rock) and was wondering if the guitar that comes with the NTSC version of the game here would work on my PAL ps3 or not.

Also, do the other peripherals work similarly? I know that the NTSC version of the game itself will work on a PAL ps3 if I use an HDTV, I just need to know about the guitar, as I'll save a lott of $$ by picking up the guitar here.

I really really need to know soon cos i'm here for a very short duration and am looking to pick up the game (there are some awesome deals here compared to the PAL versions available back home), so could anyone please help me out with this at the earliest?

As far as i know peripherals (as far as i know, i am not gospel) are region free. It is simply( i think) the fact that the game wont play on an NTSC tv like you said.
