x-plorer guitar way to work on ps2??

Hey guys i want to ask something.....can my guitar hero wired guitar X-PLORER for pc/xbox360 can work for PS2??i tried putting it in the usb port but nothing happened!!Is there any way to do this??I fucking want to buy GH METALLICA and it isnt for pc!!!Please help me if you know.....
