Default How Do the Guitars Compare

How do the guitars themselves compare in Rock Band and Guitar Hero? Do you prefer one over the other? Is one easier to play than the other?

Default Guitar hero or rock band

Guitar hero in my opinion has the easier to play guitar. However, easier is not always better.

Default Guitar Hero Guitars!!!!

Guitar Hero guitars are definately better then rockband. I really dont like the strum bar for Rockband and the in-line buttons are just more difficult in my opinion. Everyone says Guitar Hero 2 guitar is lighter but i prefer the heavier Guitar Hero 3 guitar just because it's more like a real guitar. The only thing I like better about the Rockband guitar is that it's size is more like a real guitar but Activision is fixing their guitar for World Tour to make it larger.

i really don't like the RB controller. The fret buttons are much harder and have no tactile feedback, while the strum bar is like a marshmallow. it's so squishy.

but then again, the GH strum bar could use some improvement too.

The explorer for GH II i think is the best.

Rock Band guitars are not reliable at all.
Buttons slow, uncomfortable.

Never have been a fan of the smaller buttons either

But i'm also against the touch-pad in the world tour guitars.
But i can't really say that they're bad until i play it.
Although it seems like a bad idea.
