GHWT (IV) wireless guitar on GH3 problem

Hey all, i have googled my *ss off and i still haven't found a solution to my problem. I bought Guitar Hero 4: World Tour for PC and i have downloaded guitar hero 3 but for some reason my GHWT guitar isn't recognized by GH3. i've searched for special programs and stuff but i can't find anything about it. Only threads about "will GH3 guitar work for GHWT" and then 1 post that says "yes."
i can't do a thing with that. Help would be greatly apreciated. how do i get my GHWT guitar to work with gh3 downloaded version :|
